What sessions can you attend at Open Day?

We offer three types of sessions you can build your Open Day with: subject sessions, general sessions on University life and open sessions.

  • We recommend that you book onto subject and general sessions in advance via the booking form to avoid disappointment. You don’t need to book onto the open drop-in sessions in advance.
  • In the booking form, search a subject for subject-specific talks, demos and taster lectures. To find general talks on University life and support, search ‘general talk’ in the booking form.
  • Once you've booked, you can access your personal booking page from your ‘Open Day booking confirmation’ email, to plan and join your sessions on the day. We’ll also text you a link to your booking nearer the event.
  • All booked sessions will finish with enough time to get to your next session.
  • To help you navigate campus, collect our Open Day guide when you check-in/register at one of the University entrances. It includes maps and listings of general University activities.
  • Parents, guardians, family and friends are welcome to attend our Open Days. However, due to capacity constraints, some sessions have a limit on the number of guests you can bring in with you, while some sessions will be limited to prospective students only. Please note, all under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian while on the University campus.
